Social Media Manager

first of its kind in the world. We work with proprietary tools to identify precise gaps in the

consumer electronics industry, and then proceed to build, market, and distribute

promising consumer electronics goods with a strictly results-oriented approach.

The Position:

eBuyNow is looking for a Social Media Manager who not only has strong strategic thinking but also someone who can deliver hands-on distributing content and running advertising campaigns for our different social channels and advertising programs. You will be responsible for growing audiences and increasing the reach, engagement, and community of all social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. 

What we need specifically, is a candidate who can develop creative, innovative content which increases engagement and builds community that directly supports our sales goals.

Along with planning and building an editorial content calendar, you will collaborate with Marketing and Sales to deliver platform-specific content including text posts, videos, and graphics that support new product launches, ad campaigns, or other brand messages. After campaigns have been launched, the ideal candidate will extract and analyze data across multiple channels. They must have a good eye for trends and an understanding of social media metrics.

  • Oversees all social media accounts management including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube

  • Creates and executes social media strategies and marketing plans for licensed brands and each product line

  • Develops engaging, creative, innovative content which enlighten audiences and promote brand and product-focused messages

  • Plans and builds all editorial content calendars while collaborating with Marketing and Sales to develop timelines coinciding with new product launches, ad campaigns, or other brand messages

  • Publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action

  • Manage and implement all social advertising campaigns

  • Increase the reach, engagement, and community of all channels for a diverse brand portfolio while cultivating leads and sales

  • Determines KPIs and continuously collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive ROI reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns

  • Supports the Graphic Designers in identifying required assets and ensures their timely delivery

  • Stays in touch with industry trends, competitors and news surrounding our brands to ensure the success of effective social media marketing

  • Participate in overall strategic marketing planning, monitor each step of the marketing process to improve social media marketing strategies and efficiency


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field welcomed but not required with relevant work experience

  • 5-6 years experience with social media management and digital advertising

  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed

  • Exhibits the ability to move from the analytical side to the creative side of marketing

  • Excellent copywriter and sparkling digital conversationalist who not only embodies, but enhances, our brand’s voice on social

  • Strong understanding of the sales and marketing funnel and which content is appropriate for each level of the funnel

  • Solid campaign management skills – experience leading programs from start to close

  • Outstanding communication - writing skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, and tone

  • Ability to analyze data and report out to management

  • Experience with SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, pay-per-click advertising

  • Ability to self-start with strong organizational skills and must be able to work independently 

  • Can seek personal feedback on performance and take on feedback constructively

  • Remain relationships-focused with peers; sharing and learning from areas of expertise
